Position Summary

We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Operations Analyst with a strong background in finance administration to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our operational activities and financial processes within the decentralized finance ecosystem. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and accounting expertise will contribute to the efficiency and accuracy of our operations.

 

Job Responsibilities

Financial Reporting:

  • Monitor and maintain office budget, tracking expenses and reconciling invoices.
  • Aid in the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, which may involve journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and ensure the accuracy of reporting.

General Administrative Support:

  • Assist in the day-to-day operational tasks of the company, ensuring smooth execution of various processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the execution of operation processes and controls
  • Provide support to senior team members in various operational and financial projects as required.
  • Provide administrative support to various departments, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for executives and team members.
  • Maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical, ensuring easy retrieval of documents.
  • Assist office visitors and inquiries, providing a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Help to coordinate office events, celebrations, and employee engagement activities to foster a positive work culture.

HR Administrative Support:

  • Assist with HR administrative tasks such as employee onboarding, offboarding, and record maintenance.
  • Address employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits.
  • Maintain employee records, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.

Tax Preparation and Compliance:

  • Assist to Prepare and file tax returns accurately and promptly, adhering to relevant regulations and deadlines.
  • Assist in tax planning activities aimed at minimizing the company's tax liabilities while ensuring compliance.
  • Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify potential tax-saving opportunities.
  • Coordinate with external tax advisors and government agencies as needed, ensuring effective communication and compliance.

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Office Management, or related field. Diploma holders with related work experience will also be considered.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in tax preparation, financial reporting, and general administrative support.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer service-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in Google and MS Office suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of office management principles and practices.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Prior experience in operations, administration, is desirable.
